Have I been away too long or is it really more dangerous living in Japan these days...for elementary school kids and kindergartners?
A 56-year old man with a 30-year history of mental illness took a knife to a little 11-year old girl on a road near her elementary school.
Because..."I stabbed her because she just appeared in front of me," the man was quoted as saying.
Say what? Mentally ill? If so, then let's arrest those responsible for him, too.
Meanwhile....a female kindergarten teacher was attacked by a knife-wielding man two times in one week! Different guy!
The 21-year old teacher was on her way to school at 5:35am...awful early for bad guys to
be up....when a guy about 30-year old stopped her and went after her with a fruit knife.The same teacher was attacked by a man riding a bicycle about 100 meters from where she had just been attacked.
Why? Who knows why people get up so early?
