One six year old said, "I have stopped going to school after many dead people walked out of their graves and came into my dreams, ordering me to reach school on time."
When land was refused to a school in the eastern state of Bihar, India, school officials set up shop in a Muslim graveyard.
Kids sat on graves, ate lunch, and studied together among the 100 tombs, not including the dozens of fresh ones.
The next nearest school is four hours away.
One father, "the ghosts have come to haunt them (the children) at night and they are falling ill."![]()
A village council official offered some reassurances, "Maybe the dead are not enjoying the noise inside the graveyard any more, but we are looking
into the matter."Looking into the matter of the ghosts no longer being happy or the matter of finding an alternate location? At any rate, the kids can be sure that something is being done either about or for the ghosts...who, of course, are not there.
Do you believe in ghosts?
