Twenty year old Jessica Osborne dropped out of college twice because she didn't have enough money and went to work for Pizza Hut.
Doing her job well proved to be the right thing to do when customers started requesting her to be their server...at a Pizza Hut, mind you.
Jessica made friends with a family - a mother with two sons - often times the kind of family servers want to stay AWAY from.
She treated them kindly saying, "They (the family of three) mader your day better when they come in."
When the mother told Jessica they were moving away, there was just one request on the servers part - come say goodbye.
That's when the little family of three really made Jessica's day - they gave her a folded piece of paper -
a check for $10,000.It was money from an education fund they had set up when someone in their family had died.
Pizza Hut is about to lose a server who wants to study photography and journalism.
My bet is Jessica has the character to do both...work and study...and finish, thanks to the kindness of friends made when doing her job well.
And who says there is no customer service in America.
There is at least one girl who does it right.
