Why do I always feel like I was born too soon?
This feeling is a mystery to me and gives me cause to wonder if other half-centenarians think along the same lines.
The last time I felt this way was when I was asked to review Roomster.net
Roomster.net bills themselves as the leader in online apartment, sublet & roommate hunting.
Roomster.net has:![]()
2. last member log in
3. Google Maps,
4. quick messages
5. quick links
6. IM
7. Apartments to share
in...42 cities in the United States and seven Canadian cities.
But, where were they about 8 years ago when I needed an apartment in Ft. Lauderdale?
or six years ago when I moved to the Bay Area of San Francisco?
Yeah, I know. It's not Roomster.net's fault that I was born too soon.
But, this old dog can still take advantage of this service when my son starts hunting for an apartment in New York later this year.
He will be able to hunt for anything from a studio to 5 br apt, with or without a roomate and hopefully within his, my or our budget, for less than a $1,000, $1,000-2,000 or $2,000+....and within a defined radius of a designated zip code.
Great service!
And, at least my son doesn't have to think he was born too soon...at least he doesn't have to think so for another twenty five years or so.
