A Purdue University nutrition researcher has a tip - make calorie adjustments for the drinks you take in.
Soda, fruit juice, sweetened teas and coffees, booze, shakes...all have calories in them. If they are a regular part of the daily intake, adjustments should be made elsewhere in the diet.

might eat less for lunch or dinner, no?Same goes for having a Coca-Cola or Dairy Queen Shake.

Filling up on liquids can be good IF the calorie content and empty sugars are not so high. The best liquid, of course....water - my favorite drink.
Can a person drink too much water? Nope...it'll come out sooner or later. The individual will just feel a bit bloated until it does.
