Attorney General Alberto Gonzales Resigns is the headline.

Alberto Gonzales was the first Latino to hold the post of attorney general - "I have lived the American dream," he said. 

The American dream - to reach the pinnacle your career has to offer only to have people knock you out of it?

Gonzales' chief critic New York Senator Charles E. Schumer is appealing to the administration ""to work with us to nominate someone whom Democrats can support and America can be proud of." 

Give it up! There is no one that people with polar opposite views of life can all support and be proud of."

The Senate Majority Leader said, "Alberto Gonzales was never the right man for this job." Gosh...then how did he get the job in the first place, I wonder?

The whole affair stinks of partisan politics...democrats on one side and republicans on the other...at each other's throat trying to one up one another.

So, the kids are back in school today? What should we tell them?

Study hard. Get along with your classmates. Achieve your best. And surely some of you will live the American Dream.

And...be ready, there will ALWAYS be those whose American Dream is to prevent others from living theirs.
