A disabled high school art teacher had his eyes on a trip to St. Petersburg, FL so he could visit the Salvador Dali Museum NOT on a date he won with a porn star.
However, school board in his hometown of Monessen, PA accepted the 14-year veteran's resignation because the man in a wheelchair followed through in the 'all fake and staged' date offered up on the Sirius satellite radio show.
After returning home, the ex-high school teacher told his home-town
newspaper he was ridiculed in FL for his disability.
Let's see...
1. high school teacher listens to radio show called something about a Bubba and a sponge.
2. next he enters a contest to win a date with a porn star so he can visit an art museum (right!)
3. he goes on the trip
4. he comes back home and resigns
5. resignation is accepted
6. he complains because he was ridiculed
Nobody should ridicule the teacher for his disability. There's plenty of other reasons to point out how stupid he was.
So, when teachers are so foolish, what should we expect from their students?
