Covering the business of education and training

On a wall in the hallway just outside of the room we had been meeting in and at the top of the staircase that led outside to the playground was a placard with the words, “Teach a child when they are young and when they are older, they will not depart from those teachings.” It is a paraphrase of a proverb by the wise King Solomon. The parents, the teachers, the principal, the Reverend, JJ, and I all knew that verse from the Bible. We most likely saw it before entering the meeting room that day. Besides discovering that people come in different colors, I also learned the peace that comes from saying I am sorry and then being forgiven.
