Juanita Bynum Decides to file charges against husband Thomas Weeks III is the headline at the BizOfShowBiz a sister site in the KnowMoreMedia network.
I don't Juanita Bynum from Adam or is it Eve or her ex-husband, estranged husband Bishop Thomas Weeks III.
Juanita Bynum attacked - Bishop Thomas Weeks at WebMetricsGuru sheds some light but not enough to chase these two, um, christians (with a little c) back inside.
Teleevangelist....Bishop?
Shame on both of
them.The Bible I read...I Corinthians 6:1-7
1 Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints?
5 I say this to your shame ...
7 Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?
Yeah, I know, I chopped it up pretty good. The verses can be read in context at 1 Corinthians 6.![]()
These two Christians? I am not the judge, of course.
But they sure ain't acting like Christians.
What do you think?

I think if Weeks beat Bynum as severely as the news reports have depicted, then she was more than right to file charges against him and it would have been foolish for her not to. The verse which you quoted is admonishing overly litigious folks and is actually accompanied in my bible by the heading "Do not sue the brethren." I agree that this incident has brought shame on the church but the only people who will ever know the complete details of what happened are Bynum and Weeks. One cannot be blamed for the actions of another but we can take measures to protect ourselves from further harm.
