So, what were the drivers of this armored car listening to anyway? An iPod?
Or in this case NOT listening to?
Some 32,000 ching, ching, chings took place as an armored car spilled out quarters onto the pavement over TWO counties in Wisconsin while they motored on...perhaps hoping they might need to find their way back...aka Hansel & Gretel.
Eight hundred dollars worth of quarters were left in Madison County and $3,200 worth were found in Jefferson County. Good thing the car didn't pass through
Washington County.
The other $4,000 is somebody/ies early Christmas present.
Apparently the car had broken down and a
replacement was dispatched. But, after the coins were transferred, the new car forgot to secure the door. The driver was cited for failure to prevent a leaking load.
How come, seriously, no one ever loses money where I am around?
Have you ever found lost money?
