
A blogger found a mistake in NASA data on temperatures between 1999 and 2000.
Goddard Institute for Space Studies made changes and sent an email thanking the blogger.
"The net effect was to reduce the U.S. temperature anomalies for the period between 2000 and 2006 by 0.15 degrees Celsius, on average, noted climatologist Gavin Schmidt of NASA Goddard (who is not directly involved with the temperature analyses) in the climate science blog he co-runs, RealClimate.org."
Global Warming skeptics are all over the mistake casting doubts
on the conclusions of warming temperatures. Some years, it turns out, might notThe warmest year in the last 1,000 years was 1934...or maybe 1998 by .005 Celsius.
What part of industrialization, greenhouse gases and such caused the 1934 peak is what I'd like to know?
Global warming trend...perhaps. The sky is falling - no way.
