There's a reason why mom and dad always said to stop jumping on the bed and it has nothing to do with wearing out mattresses and box springs and such.

A 6-year old Chinese girl was doing the trampoline thing with two of her girl friends when she stumbled on a pillow and went flying out the window and DOWN four floors.

"We were dancing on the bed with music playing loudly and suddenly she stumbled over a pillow and flew out the window," said a playmate.

The girl survived the fall but ended up with a skull fracture and some serious scratches and bruises.

There are no laws in China that prevent parents from leaving young children at home alone.

Child neglect? Maybe not.

Adult stupidity? Absolutely.
