Hrein Energy is a producer and vendor of hydrogen production and storage systems.
Yesterday the company announced it had successfully field tested a car powered by a hydrogen-gasoline mixture.
Sounds pretty dangerous to me....NO SMOKING signs on the cars, I hope.
Cooperative research was conducted with a professor of Hokkaido University, Futaba Industrial Co and Ito Racing Service Co.![]()
Hrein Energy and the others developed a small cylindrical reactor made of aluminum (1.5' tall by 6" diameter) for recovering hydrogen and installed it on a vehicle powered by a small 50cc engine.
Next year the system will be tested on a compact car.
The following year, American car makers will be even further behind Japanese automakers.
As my feed readers already know, I love to ask questions ....here's another.
When do you think American car makers will catch up with Japan?
