The rich are different, or maybe not.

Their image in China is not good.

When asked to pick a word to describe the rich, the average Chinese chose

1. luxury (57.1%)

2. greedy (52.7%)

3. corrupt (45.0%)

The general feeling is that any rich Chinese person got their by illegal means, accumulated their wealth through social connections and became rich though they don't really deserve it.

Yet....89.8% say they would rather do things for rich people, even though they are the wrong side, than for poor people, because doing things for rich might get them something in return.

Rich and ugly.

Poor and sucking up to get something in return. What might that be called?
