I don't know about you, but it sounds like the every other weekend (depending on the season) Wine & Whatever Festivals that we have here in North California.
Californian's don't mind displaying their junk, er, wares. What's more, other Californians don't mind buying it.
It's a mystery to me.
The cheap entertainment thing - when I was a college student we were always looking for cheap entertainment.
Cincinnati (where I went to college) has about 20 some parks. I know them all; we made the rounds. College students, sober, playing leap frog, hide-and-go-seek, tag...all the different children's games except with big kids friends was our cheap entertainment.
We didn't, however, come up with a clever name like Crafty Bastards for our antics.
What's the cheapest way you and your college friends stay entertained?
