Floyd Landis lost the expensive doping case and his Tour de France doping title.
Arbitrators upheld the results of a test that showed the 2006 Tour de France champion has used synthetic testosterone to help fuel his comeback...spectactular as it was.
The decision came after four months of fighting.
Landis' one remaining recourse is to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The vote was 2-1 to uphold the results.
Landis must forfeit his Tour de France title and is subject to a two year ban.
If he doesn't appeal, he will be the first to lose the title because of a doping offense.
Add Landis to the list of cheaters that includes sportsment and teams in the NFL, NBA, MLB, F1.
Lesson learned - stay far far away from controversy.
Too often people want to know what they can get away with, how close can they get to wrongdoing without doing wrong....
What they, we, should do, is to see how far away we can get.
The Bible puts it this way, "refrain from all appearances of evil."
