The Himalayan Times says that of the 2,323 glacial lakes in Nepal, 20 are threatened by global warming.
The other 2,313 are just fine, thank you.
According to the United Nations Environment Program, temperatures in the Himalayas have been increasing by about 0.06 degrees celsius each year.
That is a whopping less than 1/100th of one degree Fahrenheit.
So, instead of -25F, it's -24.991F this year.
Nepal is the only South Asian country that is signatory to the Kyoto protocol.
The Central Department of Environment Science under the Tribhuvan University estimates that Nepal contributes 0.025% of the total greenhouse gas emissions to the global environment.
Can anybody say buzz words?
It seems to me that Nepal just wants a little attention = money.
What global warming?
