Researchers in the latest issue of the journal 'Science' are saying that toddlers are more sophisticated in their social learning skills than their closest primate relatives.
Maybe the primates are the researchers' relatives but they are NOT mine.
In physical cognitive skills of space, quantities and causality, the chimps, orangutans and toddlers were about the same.
In the social skills of communication, social learning and theory-of-mind skills,
children were 2.5 times better than the apes.
Yeah...humans can grow up to:
See Grandma Give Gin to a 9-year old Grandchild
See Mom allow her toddler to cook to death because she forgot the baby was in the car
See a man killed for stealing two bottles of beer
and, and .....
I am not sure it is a good thing for some humans to be able live and walk about socially.
Humans can do things to one another that monkeys can't even imagine.
