There is a barber in Michigan who shares the same name with a known felon who is IN PRISON for armed robbery, among other crimes.
The felon is in prison, NOT the barber...but, the barber has been arrested three times because of a mistaken identity.
The barber is now suing for damages for the wrongful arrests.
"Every day of my life, it's as though I could be locked up at any moment at any time," the barber said. "I keep talking and keep talking and no one listens and I end up in jail."
Well, then...stop talking.
The man was arrested once when his car broke down.
Another time he was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt...then arrested even though he had clearance papers.
In both cases, the judge ordered fingerprint comparisons that led to his release.
The man says he plans to change his social security number.
Uh, how about changing his car, obeying the law and changing police forces, too?
Oh...and send the lawyer home, too.
