9-year old Shen Shijun was accepted to Hong Kong Baptist University.
Now, that the boy is there, also known as March Boedihardjo, he says his classes are too easy.
When asked by reporters, the little fellow said about his first day of classes that he had already learnt the matter a year or two ago = it's too easy.
The university has designed a five-year program (that's the number of fingers we
have on one hand for us math-challenged types) so that the boy can get a master's degree in mathematics. Let's see...9 + 5...hum...he will be 14 when he gets it.
The boy is bored at college. Next think you know he will be hanging out at the frat houses and getting drunk and missing classes.
What do you think is the best way to accomodate child prodigies?

Admirable, but he is arrogant as much as he is smart from what I gather - saying things like "too easy" and criticizing his fellow classmates. Also, when the reporters asked for him to elaborate on "too easy", he answered with "You wouldn't understand." lol...
I had some respect for him before I knew what he acted like, but not anymore. Talk about socially retarded.
