Mother Teresa is being remembered today...the 10th anniversay of her death.
(Gee, has it been 10 years already?)
Mother House, the headquarters for the Missionaries of Charity that Mother Teresa founded in 1950 is the location of a mass held by Archbishop Lucas Sirkar.
Carrying strings of rosary beeds, followers of the Nobel Peach Prize winning Mother Teresa, proceeded by candelight to clinics and schools started by the faithful
missionary in Calcutta's slums.
Mother Teresa left some 4,000 nuns to carry on the work of the Missionaries of Charity to run some 600 orphanages, soup kitches and homeless shelters.
'Come Be My Light: The Private Writings of the 'Saint of Calcutta,' is said to recount her anguish over a crisis of faith, feeling separated from God even doubting the existence of God.
Whatever it is she thought or said...her actions speak much louder.
Too bad, however, that it is not good works that gets one into heaven.
