Research by Beijing Normal University and two other research institutions has discovered how attitudes in China toward marriage are changing.
The best age for a man to get married - 31. A year ago - 23-26.
The best ager for a woman to marry - 25, as preferred b 65% of men.
Men are able to choose women the same age or younger.
Though two of three women think it is okay to marry a younger man, they are not able to choose men who are younger so easily. Older and married, but not younger.
Consequently...there are more single females available than there are males despite there being more men in China than women.
These days, 10% of married couples met online.
