College is back in session and the new football season got underway this past weekend.
While Cal Berkeley was putting up fences to keep fans from interacting with tree sitters, Northwestern University had to put out more porta-potties so their fans would stop desecrating neighborhood lawns.
Outside Northwestern's Ryan Field, and at a nearby high school parking lot the porta-potties stood at attention, waiting for deposits to be made.
In addition, Evanston police passed out phone numbers to residents to report:![]()
1. public urination
2. public intoxication
3. too much rowdiness
Public urination carried a $75 fine.
I can hear it now...some doofus lawyer for a student at NU, "But, you didn't say anything about taking a dump."
Gee...aren't we glad our college students can be educated even at sporting events?
