A marriage expert from the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences says "if two people don't have a similar personality, life style, and values, their marriage won't last - even if they have beauty and money."
A Shanghai matchmaking website says true love can be found for 58,800 yuan ($7,800) at a singles party they are promoting for:
1. wealthy men
2. beautiful women
The party will be held the last 10 days of October at a venue TBD.
The admission fee includes:
1. the expense of the party
2. a year's service from the web site.
3. VIP treatment
4. a 5-star hotel stay in Shanghai
So far, 570 people have signed up - two thirds of them women -
1. beautiful
2. single (duh!)
3. good education
4. sans make-up except for skin cream ( no surprises )
The premise - true love comes from a man's money and a woman's beauty.
The result - gold diggers marrying connivers or worse.
