Chinese-American Nobel laureate of physics Yang Zhenning is 85-years old. He, too, has a trophy wife - NOT Jeri Thompson - Weng Fan.
Weng is four and half Chinese lunar cycles (54 years) his junior. The Thompsons are just two cycles apart.
Yang Zhenning "won and shared the Nobel Prize in Physics with Lee Tsung-dao 'for their penetrating investigation of the so-called parity laws, which has led to important discoveries regarding the elementary particles'" in 1957.
He now lectures exclusively for freshmen in China at Tsinghua University.
He can also be seen gallyvanting about at other universities with his pretty (my taste) wife - here at China's Sun Yat-Sen University.
"I am now 10 times more famous than before since the current marriage."
Let's see - famous for physics research or 10 times more famous for having a trophy wife?
Should I tell my kids to study or just be sure they are looking real fine?
