Former 'future president' Al Gore will share the Nobel Peace Prize with the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
What a joke!
I nominate him for the Ig Nobel Prize instead. He doesn't really deserve that. Even Ig Nobel winners can get some things right, offer something useful.
Ex-boss, former President Clinton praised his understudy - "thrilled by this well-deserved recognition, warning and educating us about the dangers of climate change for decades. He saw this coming before others in public life."
Bull hockey.
The fictional movie (I hestitate to call it a documentar at all - kind of like the
Michael Moore home movie) he took part in was totally self-serving.
For every 'scientist' that says the sky is falling there are equally if not more credible scientists who have NOTHING to gain saying the sky is NOT falling.
Ask yourself when you read a report on global warming, a warning, a new 'finding' what the reporter, researcher has to gain - more funding, more alarm...
And what about the scientist is who is contrary to the climate change hype?
What do they have to gain? Mostly nothing....just trying to tell the truth.
What did Gore have to gain with his silly movie?
How much does Gore practice what preaches?
It's clear to me why he never became the president and I am thankful he did not.
He'd surely run the economy into the ground trying to control something he cannot.
This award for Gore by the Nobel people reminds me why I don't care about who or what film wins an Oscar.
Gore's a fool.
