Apple's 2007 Insomnia Film Festival is going on today, October 13th.
High school and college filmakers are given a top-secret list of elements - props, dialogue, setting - and they choose any three to include in their movie.
After that...it's write, cast, shoot, edit, score and upload the 3-minute masterpiece....within 24 hours.
If you haven't started...you are about 6 hours behind as I write this....get hopping.
After the films are posted...the 3 Fs, family, friends and hopefully fans can watch and rate.
On November 9th, the top 25 will be sent to industry professionals for screening.

Final Cut Studio 2,
Logic Studio,
Shake
What a great idea...something constructive to give students pulling all-nighters to do.
