The Bowl Championship Series (BCS) Standings are due out today.
Ohio state will be number one...and who cares about the rest, really...it's just fodder...buzz. It really doesn't make any difference who is number one right now.
It's just something to talk about.
What matters is the rankings after Thanksgiving...when all the colleges and universities have finished their season and begin preparing for the various bowls.
The bowls are where another $1 million to $15 million get tossed into the coffers of athletic programs of the participating teams.
