
There were only 100 some students gathered to call Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a 'dictator' when the, um, dictator gave a speech to mark the beginning of the academic year at Tehran University.
But...you gotta start somewhere.
And, more often than not, it's the students, pressed into awareness of the goings on in the world, by liberal (think goofy except in this case) professors.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ignored the chants of "Death to dictator" and continued his speech on the merits of science and the shortcomings of Western democracy.
There has to be a connection there somewhere.
Ahmadinejad's hardline government makes anti-government protests rare, though at one time students were the main power base of Iran's reform.
CIA needs to get back to work on Iran campuses, no?
