Japan loves a fad...including the fictitious global warming fad.
Yeah, it's long running and a huge money making fad.
Perhaps the biggest fans of the false alarm are the Japanese.
Some 92.3 say they have an interest in global warming ...two years ago the number was 87.1%.
7.3% say they are not interested .... that would include me if I were still in Japan.
To help combat the fictitious monster - 40% of the Japanese say they want to
buy:
1. televisions
2. air conditioners
3. refrigerators
4. other consumer goods with high energy efficiency.
Thanks for buying the more expensive brand!
36.4% say they will cut down on electric use
35.6% say they will take their own shopping bags with them
60% say they will take shorter showers....if everyone in the world did this we'd have a different global air phenomenon to worry about.
40% favor an environmental tax - now we are getting to the heart...soak more money out of the people on the premise of a global warming scare.
57% want the government to introduce daylight savings time (DST).
Now, there's a reason to NOT introduce it...since when to politicians listen unless it means more money?
