University of Memphis football player, Taylor Bradford was shot to death.
The 21-year old might have been considered an easy target - 5'11", 300 pounds.
The third year transfer student was a defensive lineman big enough to stop an offensive line, but not a bullet.
A 'brother.'
"Loved to play football"
"Loved his family"
"Loved Kappa" - "Earlier Sunday night, Bradford stopped by all the sorority houses with his fraternity brothers to encourage all the sororities to participate in an upcoming fraternity event in order to promote diversity."
Hated by one/some - the police are saying "the initial investigation indicates this was an act directed specifically toward the victim and was not a random act of violence."
I once learned that you have to be very very unlucky to be killed randomly. Most shooting deaths take place between organized crime members or between family members and ex-friends/acquaintances.
When a family member or someone you knows comes after you, it makes you, Taylor Bradford included, an easy target.
