There are 800 students on 170 teams from around the globe competing in the 2007 World Robot Olympiad in Taipei, Taiwan.
Three groups:
1. - elementary school students
2. - junior high school students
3. - senior high school students
are competing by assembling robots with LEGO plastic bricks and controllers -
sound, light, temperature censors.
The theme - to simulate Mount Ali train's z-line switchback movement.
When I grew up...it was erector sets.
Why not an erector set meets LEGO competition?
At any rate...it's good to see the kids do something with educational toys.
My boys loved LEGOs. Still do, I think, thought it's time to outgrow them.
