There are about 80 million generation millennials making their way into the workforce.
The millenials - born between 1980 and 1995 - will soon take the place of their grandparent baby boomers who are pushing 60.
Millenials :
1. were raised by doting parents
2. played in games with no winners or losers
3. are "all winners"
4. got trophies just for showing up
5. believe you can take your job and shove it if they don't like it
6. demand that companies cater to their desires - think Disney hiring consultants to know how to deal with them
7. are tech savvy
8. can multitask
9. have clear priorities - they come first
10. are resourceful
11. are clever
12. are incorrigible
13. don't trust anybody over 30
14. can't be treated harshly
15. can't disappoint you or anyone else
16. can't be devoted to the company; they are already devoted to self
17. want to come to work at noon with their iPods and in flip flops and be CEO by noon.
18. want their commitments to come first
19. require 'special' treatment, acceptance of their tattos
20. have managers, those over 30, scratching their heads and scrambling for experts to teach them how to handle the new generation.
How many generation millenials do you have working for you?

Funny and almost all true - and that coming from someone who would be considered a millenial.
I believe this wholeheartedly. I have found it exceedingly difficult - read impossible - to stay at a job I did not like or find fulfilling.
