Disney World has met its match.
In the 1960s, Americans weighed on average, 25 pounds less than they do today.
Somehow, that seems a bit on the friendly side.
It's a problem for Disney World, Disneyland.
Rides like Pirates of the Caribbean hit bottom when they come down the last flume, gets bogged down in the 'S' room of the Scandinavian room.
Irony of ironies...when Americans ride the "It's a Small World" ride the boats
bottom out...come to a grinding halt.
There are three solutions -
1. Put America on a diet - fat chance of that.
2. Make the boats more bouyant - can't make the canals deeper, the boats will sink!
3. Some combination of the two.
Is anybody but me embarrassed by this turn of events at Mickey's house?
