Here's how it can be tuition free. The tuition and courses are paid for by corporate and non-profit sponsors as well as free-will donations of parents who use the services.
All core curriculum courses in K-12 are tuition free. Free. F-R-E-E. I know a bus load of home schooling parents who will be interested to know about this...including me.
In about 5 years, with one in the oven, K-12FreeHomeschool.org is definitely something I will have bookmarked.
The same courses cost $250-500 elsewhere. Optional electives are offered at 25-50% discount.
The K-12FreeHomeschool.org Course Catalog lists the 140 K-12 Core and Elective courses that are offered which can be accessed 24/7. There is a great array of courses that will certainly provide a solid education for your ever-learning kids.
Icing on the cake for those of faith, the Christians among us, including me, this K-12 free homeschool program is built on Christian convictions.
Can't beat that with a stick.
