A school bus driver was arrested for spanking a 3-year old on his bus...not the funny kind of spanking...just the if you don't sit down "You're going to get a spanking right now. Do you understand me?" kind of spanking.
The incident was captured by a video camera on the bus.
Apparently what the driver was supposed to do when the little girl wouldn't sit down was:
1. pull over
2. ask for help
3. radio it in
The bus attendant didn't do squat.
Bus rules prohibit drivers from touching children if they act up.
I'm glad I don't drive a school bus anymore....good googey moogey...
If a kid doesn't know to sit down in a bus when it's moving...the kid is NOT ready to go to school.
Moms and Dads! Are you listening?
But then...with all the weirdos out and about...I don't want anyone touching my kid either.

Has anyone seen the footage of the school bus spanking from Plano, Texas? That bus driver may be missing her next payday. In November, a school bus driver, Gail Atkins, grabbed a 13 year old boy and disciplined him by spanking him, and it all got on tape. The boy’s mother is outraged by the incident, and also by the further events in which the school district suspended her son, Kaleb, for an incident that is reportedly separate from the original offense that has been disputed as to whether or not the infraction that got him suspended ever took place. She proclaims his innocence, and decries the malicious treatment of her and her son by the school district. It may or may not have been spurred by her threat to take the footage public. The bus driver obviously did not have the discipline to deal with the boy’s behavior, which is why she has been placed on a paid leave of absence.
