China has placed a ban on teacher-student relationships.
The Wuhan University of Science and Technology decided to take a survey to get the love pulse of Netizens.
Of 7,848 Internet votes, almost two in three (63%) objected to the ban on dating between faculty and students at a university.
Only one in four (27%) agreed to the ban.
The other 10% refused to comment, or were too wrapped up in a relationship to
respond maybe.Teachers at Wuhan were required to sign a contract promising to not date their students.
3% of the faculty are yet to sign. Hmmm...
The move is to protect the interests of students and the reputation of the the university.
And if that doesn't work...
