For the rookies and veterans preparing Thanksgiving Dinner...a very important cooking lesson.
Rat Poison canNOT be subsituted for flour.
One wonders why anybody would have rat poison in the kitchen anyway.
Still in the midst of China’s big push for safety, quality control, sanity and such, a Chinese cook, put rat poison in his rice dumplings instead of flour.
Yup. He’s dead. And, so are five others.
While making rice dough, the chef grabbed the rat poison by mistake. Somehow, the poison got placed among the other condiments.
The cook, it seems has a part-time job selling rat poison as a business and had put the poison in the kitchen when he moved home.
Good thing he doesn't have a part time job stocking other kitchens.
Looks like China has more work to do as people become anxious about food safety leading up to the Beijing Games.
