Is there a way to lose weight that doesn't cause drastic changes in one's life style?
Indeed there is.
First, find a balance of food intake that allows you to maintain your weight. Anything you want as long as your weight is not going up.
Now add any/all of the following to your life.
1. Skip the elevator and start taking the stairs. Every time.
2. Park as far away from the entrance as you can, not as close as you can.
3. Walk, bike, run to work, the store or on errands when you can.
4. Get up and take a walk during your lunch hour.
5. Play with the kids instead of watching them play.
6. Take a walk with the family after dinner.
7. Push the mower, dig up the garden, use scissors when doing chores, instead of riding, rototilling and weed whacking.
8. Get an exercise bike and use it when watching/reading instead of as a clothes holder.
9. Get a pedometer and increase your number of steps each day.
10. Fidget - Mayo clinic says that fidgeters can burn an extra 350 calories a day = one pound every 10 days if you didn't fidget before.
Take one step or all ten steps, and you will be lighter in a month or so.
