Covering the business of education and training

BOCOG has established in China an Olympic education program called the mini-olympics.

The Beijing Olympic education program was created to promote the Olympic Movement among China's 400 million young Chinese in its 400,000 schools.

BOCOG has planted 556 "Olympic Education Model Schools" nationwide, 200 of which are in Beijing.

The schools hold:

1. speech,

2. writing 

3. painting

4. knowledge contests.

BOCOG has offered more than 1.1 million Olympic-themed textbooks at the elementary, middle and high school levels.

Come 8-8-08, China and her young people will know more about the Olympics they are hosting than all the rest of us.
