I attended a Messiah Sing the other night. I wrote about it here 5 People at a Messiah Sing.
I have a couple of more observations that I want to share in this post and another one or two.
Why not one post?
Regular readers here know I don't do long posts. I get too tired of reading, writing before I finish.
There were some famous people at Stanford's Memorial Chapel.
Jesus, of course. The apostles. David, Abraham, Isaac, Rebekah, Jacob, Rachel, Isaiah, Jeremiah....the other prophets. I am pretty sure I even saw Herald the
angel, Gabriel and Michael, too. There were murals, icons to these characters from the Bible on the walls throughout the buidling. But my favorite, and I am not sure why, was on wall of the second floor balcony on the left side as you face the front.
She was there, right next to Noah. Her name - Noah's wife.
It struck me as a bit funny that she had no name. In the Bible, her name is not given either. So, the Stanford Memorial Church builders gave her a no name - Noah's wife.![]()
I guess what I want to say is that it doesn't matter to Jesus, the Messiah, if you, or I have a NAME or not. He just wants us to come to Him and sing.
"For Unto Us a Child is Born..."
