
Jesus is the real Christmas Gift, the reason for the season, the Christ in Christmas...all those things.
But what is it that Jesus gives us?
I can think of a lot of things.
He is an example of a person who -
1. is a teacher
2. is a mentor
3. is intelligent, sharp
4. is experienced
5. is a thought provoker
6. offers clarity and new understanding
7. enable others
8. is a master communicator
9. taught what was lacking
10. broke things down into bite-sized pieces
11. did everything well
12. demonstrates persistent
13. keeps on teaching
14. perseveres
15. didn't give up on disciples
16. is personable
17. has a sense of humor
18. gave (nicknames),
19. is funny
20. is lovely
21. is kind to all
22. is exciting
23. amazes
24. creates buzz
25. attracts crowds
26. is the life of party, the centerpiece, the focus
27. took quality time at the beach, the lake, or a party)
28. invited others
29. fellowshipped, worked with others to an end
30. physically touches people
31. has individual focus
32. asks people about themselves and listens

37. knows what you're looking for

Yeah, Jesus gives us an example, 130 of them, more if we continue to dig, of the kind of person he is/was and what he expects of us.
Indeed, we can be like Jesus. No better time to start trying than at Christmas.
Give yourself Jesus for Christmas.








Nice list, Bill. I wish I had at least 2 or 3 of these things down pat. I know we could all benefit by trying to be better at these attributes. Merry Christmas man!
