Jack Bauer can be caught. He can be put behind bars. And, he will stay there and wait 48 hours before coming out to save the world.
Jack Bauer, aka Kiefer Sutherland, or is it the other way around, was sent to jail for 48 days for getting caught driving drunk for the second time in three years.
40-year old Bauer, dangit, Sutherland was on probation for a 2004 DUI violation.
He had an alcohol-related offense in 1993, too.
Gosh, 14 years and having saved the country 6 times and he still has NOT
learned how to leave the booze alone.
24 Season 7 - The first thing terrorists need to do is get him drunk. By the time he gets out of jail, it'll be over.
In addition to his time in jail, Sutherland must:
1. serve 60 months probation,
2. pay a $510 fine,
3. enroll in an 18-month alcohol-education class
4. attend weekly alcohol-therapy sessions for six months
Grow up Bauer! We're going to need you next year when the terrorists come.
