The glyptodon - a large armored mammal, also an ancestor to the armadillo.
I ate some for lunch the other day at a local restaurant here in Silicon Valley.
It didn't taste old, ice age old (if you believe in that sort of thing - I don't).
I had ribs, my wife ate part of a fellow herbivore - the cow.
The glyptodon was easily enough caught, moving at about 1-2 miles an hour.
There are fellows at the gym that move slower than that. Well, I think they are moving.
It'll be a while before I eat at the Glyptodon restaurant again. Have to wait for a
coupon to come in the mail.
Good restaurant, however, Armadillo Willy's is. Maybe it should be named Glyptodon Gus', eh?
