J. K. Rowling is giving someone/s a $4 million Christmas Gift - The Tales of Beedle the Bard, one of seven handwritten copies of a book of fairy tales that are a distillation of themes found in Harry Potter books.

Six copies of the leather bound books with silver mounts were given to people closely connected to the Potter series.

The seventh was bought by Amazon.com for $4 million.

The book had expected to fetch $100,000 dollars and the proceeds given to The Children's Voice a charity co-founded in 2005 by Rowling and Baroness Nicholson,

In response the amount, Rowling said, "This will mean so much to children in desperate need of help. It means Christmas has come early to me."

Christmas came early to her because she was able to GIVE more than she expected.

That's what Christmas is about.
