Kudos to Michigan Technilogical University for offering in-state tuition prices to ALL offspring or spouses of active U.S. military personnel.
Easy enough - a tangible way of saying thank you to the military men and women who are serving.
The innovative idea came to the school when the son of a military man now stationed outside of MI was denied in-state tuition even though he graduated from a MI high school while his father was stationed in the state.
The offer also applies to students with a parent or spouse on full-time duty with the National Guard for more than one year.
The U.S. military has 1.3 million men and women on active duty.
Michigan Tech says "Welcome!"
