Usually it's the thought that counts. Still a McDonald's in Seminole County FL has agreed to reward students for good grades by giving them a Happy Meal.
Good attendance will get the 'reward' too.
For the last 10 years, Pizza Hut was the rewarder.
If a student gets all A's and B's in academic subjects and doesn't miss three or more days of school, McD's will give them a 'food prize' which is a Happy Meal.
In exchange...yeah, nothing is free, Ronald McDonald gets his picture on the jacket that the kids carry their report cards in with photographs of Happy Meal
items.It may be the first time ever that a kid calls a school up and asks a teacher to please give her kid a "C."
The school board gets a failing mark on this arrangement.
