
A researcher of the State Archives Administration of China wrote -
"The new evidence, given by a Japanese official and a third party, prove slaughters took place along the way of the Japanese from Shanghai to Nanjing. The Nanjing Massacre was not the beginning."
According to recently released U.S. archives, he learned that the Japanes massacred, or at least boasted to have done so, more than 500,000 Chinese BEFORE entering Nanjing and killing 300,000 more.
A telegram from then US ambassador to Germany in 1937 reads -

The Japanese were indeed viscious. They killed more Chinese one by one than Japan lost in both Nuclear bomb droppings.
And we wonder no more why there is such bad blood between the two countries.
In fact if these numbers prove to be accurate, the Japanese actually killed four times as many Chinese (800,000+) one-by-one as the country of Japan lost in the two bombings, Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined - about 200,000.
