The Berkely Electronic press has put out a report -

Evidence about the Link Between Education, Poverty and Terrorism among Palestinians

The short of it - 

The resulting evidence suggests that both:

1. higher education

2. standard of living are positively associated with participation in Hamas or PIJ and with becoming a suicide bomber.

But

1. being married significantly reduces the probability of participation in terrorist activities.

And we thought education, and education that leads to prosperity was the answer.

Not so. Just got to get potential terrorists married off.

But, then some guys wanting to get out of a marriage might...

Okay, that's really not funny.
