UC Irvine Warns against Noisy toys or and off Healthytoys.org List?

UC Irvine has another classification for toys to send to Healthytoys.org. Noisy toys.

"For some of the louder toys, if a child were to take that and hold it out against their ear for a matter of minutes, they could potentially do some long-term hearing damage,"  said one researcher.

Really now.

And, I seriously wonder how much money was wasted on research to come to that conclusion.

"What we're trying to push here is not that the toys themselves are

bad or shouldn't be purchased or taken off the market or anything like that. It'ssinging.teddy.bear.jpg more education and supervising your child and making sure they understand what's safe and what's not," he continued.

But, will they put directions on the toys to explain how not to go deaf playing with it?

Or maybe a warning label?

Can I sue if my child has already gone deaf from singing suzy bear?

I WANNA SUEEE!!!! WAAA!

WARNING -

Singing dolls and teddy bears should not be listened to at full volume at less than one arm's length for several minutes.

Seriously, now. Could a kid that plays with singing dolls and teddy bears do that?
